The Origins of Bones Pipes: Morgan Pipes is a brand that prides itself on blending traditional pipe-making techniques with innovative designs. Inspired by Wally Frank and a close friend, I sought to infuse a no nonsense ethos into the brand.

Sometimes these are already made and were cast off as seconds of another line. Traditionally these stummels would be puttied and shellacked to be sold as basket pipes. I wanted to give a more transparent view of the briar in the Bones line. There is another reason for their appearance but we will get to that later. Other times fresh blocks are sourced for unique shapes. The briar for this line and all of my lines come from Italy.
The pipes are carefully shaped, sandblasted, and then joined with precision to the acrylic Italian made stems via a delrin tenon, resulting in a durable and aesthetically pleasing pipe. The sandblasting not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the pipes but also provides durability and a unique tactile experience for the smoker.
